No Shoes Required

No Shoes Required is a worship band from Winchester, VA whose musical styles are similar to that of Jeff Deyo, Jesus Culture, and Hillsong (to name a few). A perfect mix between soulful vocals and a rock edge, their music is able to cross both age and cultural barriers. Made up of six guys, No Shoes Required is enthusiastic about both being in the presence of God and taking people to a deeper level of intimacy with the Lord through the means of worship in music and song. Together since August 2009, No Shoes Required acquired its unique name from Exodus 3:5 saying, "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your SHOES, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."
